I don't know if you were watching CSPAN during the 20 minutes prior to the debate, when Lehrer was "prepping" the audience. It was the most condescending thing I have ever seen in my life. Lehrer preached to the audience about how they were NOT to become part of the "elective process", they should just feel honored to be observers. He further told them how they were to respond to his non-verbal cues of flapping his arms up and down. It was incredible to watch, and a bit more informative than listening to O'Reilly flap his gums.
