I would only disagree with what you say by saying that from the FIRST question directed to Kerry, he was obviously aware of the questions. It was a FAKE debate. Kerry never even hesitated for a split second to understand the question or to frame his answers.
I don't think Kerry had the questions ahaead of time, they were custom made for him. He didn't need them having anwered many of them in previous apperances. Lehrer could have given us a great debate but instead made a gift basket of questions for Kerry.
