Burkett claims he had a committment from CBS to authenticate the documents. Then how come he xeroxed them and destroyed the originals? How did he expect CBS to authenticate xerox copies?

Actually, I believe that JFKerry/CBS are the originators of the documents. Burkett was the useful idiot in the event questions arose.
What was not expected was the instant questioning of the documents.

This is Burkett's BlogNo, it's not really his blog. As Anti-Bubba182 noticed, the blog is "Powered by RadioLeft". The domain name billburkett.us is owned by Geoff Staples of Dallas, one of the regulars at Radio Left. Radio Left's nameservers are used for the domain.
About the only thing missing is Bill himself. And no, "Administrator" almost certainly ain't him.

...which leads to the next logical question:If Burkett has nothing to do with this domain and blog (other than the presence of his name), just who is really getting the donations?
