NASA TV carried flight 1 live and I believe they will carry flight 2 live.

It won't be light yet, but if I don't trip over a sleeping moose on the way to the shop at that hour I should be online here then. 5:30 AM, no problem.

The Discovery channel is running a special on Rutan's spacecraft right now. It runs for 2 hours and will repeat at 11PM CST.

If you have cable, The Science Channel will carry it live plus this will be on all of the news channels when it happens. Fox, CNN, MSNBC all carried the first flight rather extensively.

The Discovery Science Channel (on sattelite and digital cable) will be covering the launch of SpaceShipOne tommorrow. I think they should have much better coverage than the news channels, at the very least they won't cover up the screen with their graphics.
If anyone hasn't had the opportunity to see the Discovery Channels special ,Black Sky, do yourself a favor and watch it. They will air it again on Thursday or Friday.
Burt reveals some of his plans for the future, incredibly exciting stuff. He shows a 3d picture of the orbital version of SpaceShipOne that has a rocket booster as it's first stage in place of the White Knight. It looks like it could carry 8-10 people with large windows for passengers to get a great view on the way to orbit, he shows it docked at a rotating space station, much like the Wernher Von Braun concepts.

Just got through watching the Discovery Channel's special about Spaceship One. My favorite part had to be when they tested one of the rocket engines to see how much ambient heat it was giving off. Their high tech solution was to attach hot dogs, buns, marshmallows and a couple of t-shirts to the fence surrounding the test structure. They had a shot of Rutan tasting one of the marshmallows afterwards. Too funny!
To: Reaganesque
That was great, and the way they tested that redesigned tailfin. It was so simple and inexpensive, yet effective. That's what it's all about, finding new ways or rediscovering old ways to do things to get the job done.
