Kerry and the Ayatollahs (Kerry's letter to Iran, blaming the US) (REPOST/REMINDER)
Washington Times ^ | Feb. 29, 2004 | WT

On Feb. 8, the Tehran Times published a letter that Mr. Kerry's office sent to an Iranian news agency explaining why he should be elected president. The letter suggests that the Bush administration's objectionable behavior toward other nations is to blame for many of the world's problems. "Sadly, we are also painfully aware of how the actions and attitudes demonstrated by the U.S. government over the past three years have threatened the goodwill earned by presidents of both parties over many decades and put many of our international relationships at risk," the Kerry letter says.

Ever since the Iranian Revolution occurred during Jimmy Carter's presidency a quarter-century ago, Tehran has been hostile to the United States and one of the world's leading supporters of terrorism — providing funding, weapons, training and safe haven to groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and even al Qaeda. But Mr. Kerry seems to believe that the crux of the problem isn't Iran's despotic, violent rulers, but President Bush's behavior toward them.

People should be reminded of this. Add to it, that Kerry wants to give nukes to our sworn enemies, supporters of terrorists and ask yourself, how can Kerry, who blames the US and offers aid and comfort to the enemy, could possibly be fit to be President of the US?

Can you imagine a US presidential candidate sending such a letter to Iran, one of the countries of the "Axis of Evil", basically telling them that they are right, and the US is wrong?

This is TREASON? Kerry consorted with the N. Vietnamese communists in 1971 and he is still consorting with the enemy.

I wonder if he also sent a letter to Bin Laden?

Kerry's days are numbered.

He will be called back to windsurfer heaven after Nov. 2.

I remember hearing about this. About the time Kerry was saying that the 1st thing he would do when elected would be to go around the world and apologize to all the nations for the actions of President Bush. What a treasonous SOB. How can anyone vote for this idiot.

I'm sure the Mullah's will become America's best friends after we give them nukes and Kerry smoozes with them. God help us all. (and I mean that the way is sounds.0

Kerry is unbelievable!

Anyone remember "Invaders from Mars"? Could be Kerry fell through the sand and had a chip implanted in the back of his neck.

Now, who would be pulling the strings? Maybe George Soros- what do you think?

I love the Iranian mullahs' flip-flop.
After the first debate, they rejected Kerry's proposal.
Now they've come to their senses and embraced it.

If Kerry is elected the mullahs will have a whole FOUR YEARS of playing with Kerry
like a cat plays with a mouse.

That's even longer than they diddled Carter!

Yesterday didn't he say he would get tough with Iran. We need to use this in a T.V. ad. Also he is the ultimate arm chair quaterback.

This borders on treason. What a back-stabbing SOB! Kerry is doing to George Bush what the French did to the US in the lead-up to the Iraq War.

What would be sKerry's reason for writing this letter?

Those people can't vote for him.

"Yesterday didn't he say he would get tough with Iran. "

IIRC, yes, he did say that.
But I suspect that a thorough review of the tape will show that he was sending messages
to the ayatollahs by winking or doing hand-signals.

Like any reputable Al-Quida operative wanna-be would do.

I'm joking, of course
But only a very little bit.

Kerry is farther to the left than Jimmy Carter, who brought us regime change in Iran by refusing to prop up the "evil" Shah. Kerry if elected will oversee the fall of Saudi Arabia to the mullahs and will harm Israeli sovereignty every chance he gets.
