To everyone, I think it's quieting down. There is still chanting, but no gunfire. No one in the cafe seems worried anymore (they were ten minutes ago). I don´t think it was a revolution, apparently there was a large march of indigineous people that the police tried to disperse or something -- firing blanks into the air, these were the sounds I was hearing. I don't really know much more, and I'm unsure about the veracity of even that. I'm sorry if I got you all worried or excited over nothing.

The streets are relatively quiet now, so I´ll be signing off and heading back to my hotel.
