The House passed 3 articles of impeachment against Nixon in 1974. The transcripts of Nixon's "secret" tapes showed he was lying ("the smoking gun"); his support in Congress evaporated overnight, and he resigned before the House voted on the articles of impeachment.

You are right; he was not impeached. Had he not resigned, the House would have impeached him, and given that he actually did something wrong (unlike Clinton, for instance), the Senate would have convicted him.

Oh, get real, you one-post-wonder. Nixon was an amateur in comparison to Clinton's crooked ways.

Trolling for three years and "nixon would have been impeached" is the best you can do?

I am overfrickenwhelmed by your powers of concentration, observation and a solidly firm grasp of the obvious.

Go play in traffic.
