Sandy Berger Hits the Lecture Circuit

Former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger, who remains under investigation for stealing national security secrets from the National Archives while helping ex-President Bill Clinton prepare for his testimony before the 9/11 Commission, has hit the lecture circuit.

On Thursday, Oct. 21, Berger will be lecturing on "The Politics of National Security" at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., his alma mater.

Berger resigned as national security adviser to John Kerry's presidential campaign in July, after word of the Justice Department investigation document probe leaked to the press.

At the time, Deputy Attorney General James Comey predicted that the former Clinton official would face harsh consequences.

"It is against the law for anyone to intentionally mishandle classified information, either by taking it to give to somebody else, or by mishandling in a way that is outside the regulations of government information," Comey told reporters.

"We take issues of classified information very, very seriously," he said, adding, "All felonies in the federal system bring with them the promise of jail time, that's all I can say about that."

> Berger resigned as national security adviser to
> John Kerry's presidential campaign in July ...

But he is still linked to the campaign.

This lecture tour can only help to remind voters of
Kerry's contempt for national security.

> ... Berger will be lecturing on "The Politics of
> National Security" at Cornell University ...

Preaching to the choir.

"Right out of the starting gate, Mr. Berger was an unfortunate choice for a national security position with the government because of his prior role as the chief Washington lobbyist for the Chinese Government's trade office.'

Let me repeat that. 'Mr. Berger was an unfortunate choice for a national security position with the government because of his prior role as the chief Washington lobbyist for the Chinese Government's trade office."

I'm sick and tired of all these FN'ning LIBS (ala Michael Mooreshit) ripping off unsuspecting students by speaking jibberish and getting the Lib Academia to finance them. Proves they can't get honest work! Does anyone know what he's making on this ?

remains under investigation

You will never give me any reassurances that this "Two-Party Cartel" is a totally corrupt group if felons like the Klintons & these accomplices are not behind bars. I'm just about to feel sorry for Martha Stewart.

Why is Eric Holder still in the Justice Department ?

Why are there Democrat judges who stain the Constitution ?

I haven't seen the question raised, so I will.

Has Sandy Berger's Security Clearance been revoked ? If not, why not ?

He should have no more access to classified data than an ordinary citizen--"Consulting Firm"--or not.

Me, too, however, clinton seems to make a good living doing it. Looks like the lecture circuit is the perfect job for has-been democrats.
