EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards fired up the crowd on the U-W Eau Claire campus this afternoon.
Then he told them to hop on some waiting buses and travel to City Hall to vote absentee.
Edwards continued to rip President Bush, calling his administration incompetent with its strategy in the war on Iraq.
Hundreds of people jammed into the gym on campus and chanted ``Two More Weeks'' as Edwards took the stage.
Edwards accused Bush of transforming Iraq into a haven for terrorists. He told the crowd Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney are the last two people in America who don't see what a ``mess'' Iraq has become.
About 50 people boarded the Edwards' buses to vote absentee.
50 people? just 50???
The Young Democrat Morons do the same in the plaza at school almost every day. I yelled back at them once that no matter what the result of the election, the inauguration's not until January... I honestly believe some of these people don't know that.
I'm really starting to worry about voter fraud.
Way to go, John. Keep whipping up those 50 voters a day for the next two weeks.
Yes, of course.
The students will vote with absentee ballots in their home states and again in the states in which they go to school.
Registration is so easy, now, that this scenario is not only possible, not only probable, but I submit that it is actually happening on a massive scale.
Typical DemonRAT voter fraud.
Hey, girlie-boy. You have a hair out of place.
Better go spend another hour preening in front of the mirror to be sure you get it just right.
"About 50 people boarded the Edwards' buses to vote absentee."
Sounds like Edwards is really creating a groundswell with his half filled 'Bus of Competence' in Wisconsin. I hope he gets massive mainstream exposure. The more the public gets to see of this vacuous empty suit, the better.

He sure likes to use the word...MESS a lot.....yuck...sounds real Presidential/NOT/
I know I think I speak for all americans would rather see the terrorist fought over there and in my town, Chicago!
They just don't get it....that's why they are not fit to command!
These people are out of control. Totally nuts!
Haaahaaahaaa! Probably half of them voted for Bush! What a go-getter Edwards is!
voter fraud - or are they suspecting a Republican surprise
OOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...could be...both but if there is an October Surprise by the Republicans I say "Bring it On".....we're ready to hear it!!!
I'm surprised he has time to campaign considering all the time he takes with his hair. Must have been a good hair day for him today.

> I'm really starting to worry about voter fraud.
It's a concern, but in this case the Breck Girlyman needed
to be pushing this suggestion some time ago. It's getting
a bit late on the calendar. Did Johnny even think to bring
the necessary forms and stamps?
Besides, these kids are apt to go back to the dorm, check
out the Edwards primping video, and then go see if any new
titles have arrived for the X-box.
We'd better hurry or that October surprise is going to have to be a November surprise. And, NO surprise: GW is ahead in nearly every poll!WOOOOHOOOO!
"the dems. are calling for early voting. What gives - voter fraud - or are they suspecting a Republican surprise"
My guess is that dems. want the early votes so that early vote tabulations will show a dem. landslide. The late Bush votes & military absentee votes will be the last to be counted. The Dems. will try to claim victory as early as possible regardless of the realitys. They seem to have an alternate reality going in this campaign.
More like a gateway to paradise.
