Strange Joe Wilson failed to mention his second wife at all in his book...

He didn't mention Miss Valerie???!!!

Or could it be that Mlle Jacquie was the one he omitted...???

Valerie was his third wife. Jacqueline is the one he glosses over in his book. He mentions his break-up with his first wife, Susan, on p. 63. He introduces Valerie on p. 240 and marries her on p. 273. In between he makes a brief mention of Jacqueline on pp. 68-69 but leaves out key details (such as her name!):

Congo proved to be far more interesting than I expected. I had recently remarried--my new wife was a Frenchwoman who had been raised in Africa and had returned there to work with the French Ministry of Cooperation, the equivalent of our USAID.

His "new wife" is mentioned again briefly on 116 and 176 while Wilson is describing his experience in Iraq during the Gulf War. On 176 he mentions their marriage had always been shaky and was under increased stress after the Gulf War, when he was in Baghdad alone after she had been evacuated. Apart from that I can't find any other references to her.
