This is why I prefer to not go by myself door to door. A couple of us women up here have admitted that it makes us uncomfortable to go out alone. Yes there are others further down the street but it is still ratter intimidating.

I agree that it's best for women not to block walk alone. When I've gone block-walking with women, I try to keep an eye on them. I don't mind block-walking alone, but I'm a 260 lb. guy.
