Thats not what the Sherrif said in the streaming video....
He said decomposed.
May well have just been "Carefull words".
You are correct this may not be related to the missing Republican workers but it was the way the story was introduced early on. Needless to say there are two kids missing either way!
Local news said the farmworkers who found her said that the body was severely burned...but that the sheriff's office had not commented on the state of the body other than to say that the body would be id'd by dental records.
Who knows.
A badly decomposed body may appear burned to someone who doesn't know better. Similar reports came in when volunteers found the Danielle Van Dam body. In fact, it was only the advanced state of decomposition that gave this appearance. The body had not been burned.
