Ohio Gov. Taft: Four Counties Have More Registrants than Eligible Voters

Appearing on CNN’s American Morning program Tuesday, Ohio’s Republican Governor Bob Taft painted a disturbing picture of widespread vote fraud in his state.

Taft told CNN’s Bill Hemmer that in four Ohio counties, more people have registered to vote than live in those counties and are of voting age.

"We have four counties where you have more voters registered than you have 18 and over population,” Taft said.

Taft noted the role of Democrat 527 groups who have inflated Ohio’s voter registeration rolls.

"We've had a lot of fraudulent voter registrations already, mostly by those 527 groups. There will be unprecedented scrutiny of this election on both sides,” he said. Taft noted that many of these new registrations appear to be fraudulent.

"A lot of these voters don't have addresses,” he said of the new registrations. "When they send the postcard out to them, after they register, that comes back undeliverable. You're talking about thousands of cases like that all across the State of Ohio.”

Taft says he hopes the heightened level of scrutiny will lead to "an accurate count for the State of Ohio.”

Taft said vote monitors will seek to "make sure that a voter is a citizen, 18 and over, and a resident of the precinct and county where they plan to vote.”

"We've had a lot of fraudulent voter registrations already, mostly by those 527 groups..."

Thank you, John McVain.

Yeah, and I'm sure all the foreign "election monitors" will have an eagle eye out for Democrat fraud. (/SARCASM)

What a bunch of crooks.

Will the Democrats stop at nothing to steal this election?

At least they've identified some of it well before election day. Now, they better have the balls to follow through and kick ass on anyone involved, and SCREW ANY COMPLAINTS BY THE RATS AND THEIR MEDIA.

Cheaters would find a way to cheat despite the anti-first amendment campaign finance reform.

Let me guess, a lot of them have the same address at a warehouse and have requested absentee ballots.

This seems to logically indicate that President Bush has a greater lead than we have been led to believe.

Why the massive voter fraud from the Democrats if this were not so?

Sounds like the 'Rats got screwed. They hired bums, drunks, crackheads, criminals and losers and paid them per registration. Now the losers got their substance abuse money, and the 'Rats have a bunch of bogus voters who won't show up on Election Day.

After this election we need to make the act of voter fraud an act of treason for those who do it, to those who coordinate it.

Taft said vote monitors will seek to "make sure that a voter is a citizen, 18 and over, and a resident of the precinct and county where they plan to vote." Just how in the he** do they plan to do that? You can't ask for I.D. show how do you verify that someone is over 18 and a resident?

I don't think Ohio wants to be another Florida - they will probably work to be sure that the votes are as accurate as possible - the Dems are out to villify any state that even comes close to a tie!

Let me vent...

This election is gonna suck big-time. If the Pubs win the Dems will scream voter intimidation, if the Dems win the Pubs will scream illegal voters (both in many, many court cases). Even if it's a blowout. It will take months to sort out the legal wreckage.

Both sides have huge amounts of money and huge "legal" teams. And this time it's not just gonna be in FL, it's gonna be in, like, 5 states.

It sucks because I'm being dis-en-franchised. By stupid f'ing lawyers.

It's great because this election (whatever the outcome), will result in real political debate over the next 4 years (imho). End rant.

ACORN and their ilk should be prosecuted but probably won't be, so this trend will continue to fester.
