One would have to assume that even if the democrats did take the Senate one or two would put country before party and vote for Cheney to avoid four years of confusion for the sake of making a petty point. ROTFLMAO!!!! You haven't been following the US Senate for a while have you ??????

The Senate could not install Daschle. In an election thrown to the Senate, the Senators would only be allowed to choose between the top 2 electoral vote getters.
