An excellent article is spoiled by calling LaRouche a "right-winger".
To be expected by this Guardian-owned publication.

We had the LaRouchies on campus a several weeks back. They were handing out their "literature" and trying to get people to listen to them by saying that LaRouche was backing Kerry. Besides Osama bin Laden and Kim Jong Il, Lyndon LaRouche is about the last endorsement I would want.

At least they didn't call LaRouche an extreme right winger, as I have referred us called.

Odd - they failed to mention he's a member of the Democrat Party.

Agreed. I don't quite know where one would place LaRouche on the political spectrum, Left or Right. But one thing I do know: he and his loony band of fanatics are as mad as hatters. And apparently, dangerous, too.

My son has mentioned this group of loonies around Wiesbaden.

LaRouche as a right-winger...how rich.
LaRouche is the brains behind the "Cheney is the evil genius controlling Bush" meme. Read LaRouche, if you can stomach it, and you'll find what the far Left will be arguing 6 months to a year down the road.

They don't want to call anything: "ultra- LEFT wing".... Even when it is!
