If the Admin Mod finds this too vain, please feel free to pull. I'm hoping for a good long thread for activists to show their stuff and help others.

Thanks for starting this thread...

I've been active with the 72 hour efforts for my state (WI) and county, making hundreds of phone calls so far and I am also planning to volunteer all day on Tuesday as a poll watcher.

Helping with the campaign is a lot of fun and I hope that anyone who isn't already involved will get out and make a difference! It's not too late to get involved :)

I'm in Central PA - the conservative part of the state needed to balance out Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. I've been distributing yard signs, working at the phone bank, going door-to-door on Saturdays, including 5 hours today (boy, am I sore!) Tomorrow I am doing a lit drop at our Church, and I am working as a driver / runner all day election day. I've been maintaining an email list of about 50 people to pass along news, humor, and calls to action, and I've hosted 2 Parties for the President. I'm also praying a lot.

Bush may not win PA, but it won't be because I didn't do everything in my power to help him! Getting out and doing something for the campaign is a good way to feel involved and empowered. I highly recommend it - it's a good feeling to know you can do something to help, and it sets a good example for your kids, if you have them.

I voted via absentee. Spent several hours ea day Mon-Thu making 'phone calls for Congressman Robin Hayes (R-NC, 8th District). Will spend all day Mon 11/1 making "get out the vote" 'phone calls. Wish I could be a poll watcher, but have to work. Going to election eve party for Hayes.

Other stuff: Lots of email!! Talking up the President with everyone and anyone. I left Swiftie material EVERYWHERE -- in restaurants, in the dressing rooms at the mall, in restrooms, in the laundry room of my apt complex, in the church pew, even in the Salvation Army donation bag!!! I gave Swiftie material to most of my neighbors. I stopped at a house along my route to work that had a HUGE anti-SKerry sign in front and shook the man's hand. I chased down a big-a$$ SUV with a bumper sticker that read: "Regime change in '04" and told the people inside that they had no idea the meaning of the word "regime." I put a pair of flip-flops in my car and did the flip-flop thang to everyone with SKerry bumper stickers (very few, I'm happy to say).

I wanted to put a paper bag over an Erskine Bowles yard sign, but chickened out!

I'm starting to think and feel LANDSLIDE! Dear God of Israel, Lord of heaven and earth, please!

God bless America and our beloved Swifties!

I spent several hours last weekend making phone calls and then I attended a 96-hour campaign session. During the week, I put up several yard signs in strategic locations. Today, I spent a couple hours calling and got my assignment and materials for poll checking on Tuesday (I am taking a day of vacation to work the campaign). Tomorrow I am going to spend some more hours calling.

Tomorrow, Sunday we will hand out Christian and IL voter guides at church. In addition, a social and family issues flyer will highlight the differences between President Bush and Kerry. We've asked our pastor to pray for the election and to remind our members to vote biblical principles. We should be able to reach hundreds in a short period of time.

I've emailed this to several hundred news organizations today. Every email address I can find. I doubt they will break a story, but if some of the reporters actually read it and watch the video, they'll vote for Bush.

To see what it looks like with hot links, I keep it on my homepage. Feel free to use it.

Check out advertisements of your local stores, some offer discounts when you show 'em your voting stub. If you can find one to your liking, good, go vote, otherwise, why bother?

I walked today and had some success. A guy who is supporting the president but unsure about our US Senate race was willing to listen to my thoughts on the race. I told him that our Republican candidate would be the best man to support the president and that this support is particularly important with Judge Rehnquist's illness. He agreed and will vote for our candidate. A few other people were willing to take literature and talk a little. I think we will get most of their votes. I was wearing a hat from a fire school that I attended as part of training for the fire crew at work. One guy with a huge amount of experience in industrial firefighting recognized the hat because he's been to that school as well. We had a fun talk about that stuff, and he said he'd vote for my candidates. Louisianans are great folks. Even though I'm not naturally comfortable with approaching people, meeting people around here can give one a good feeling about people.

Today I lined up 22 volunteers to work the polls handing out conservative voting guides.

I also printed up to date walking lists for precinct walkers.

I also delivered two signs and spoke for a little while to some nice old folks who are very worried about the election.

I slept a bit late so that I would have the energy to get through the next 3 days.

Tomorrow I will finish walking my precinct.

I'm deeply concerned about the Florida Panhandle. This is a rich reservoir of Republican and conservative Democrat voters which goes untapped election after election. I don't know if they are even in the same time zone as the rest of Florida, but time after time we hear the sad refrain that the MSM had called the state and the Panhandle voters were discouraged from voting later in the the day.Talk about Suppressing the Vote!! I'm asking you please if you are a Panhandle voter or if you know someone who votes in that region let's reach out to our friends and encourage them to get out there and cast their vote. Never before has it been so clear that It Ain't Over Til It's Over. Never has so much been at stake. You folks at Patrick Air Force Base and Appalachicola Naval Station. Let's Roll! Everybody call our good friends in Destin and the rest of the 'Redneck Riviera'!!!

Before God, you vote with bloody hands

The Democratic Party and its presidential candidates for 20 years have embraced Sodomy, infanticide and Socialism. Jamming scissors into the base of babies skulls at the moment of birth and suctioning out their brains (Partial-Birth Abortion) is something John Kerry has repeatedly voted to continue. While this may well be Kerrian, Christ plunged no blades into babies, thus the crime cannot be called CHRIST-ian. Nor is the defender of abortion Christian, the sin being irreconcilable with the Lamb of God. But who, after the Clinton years, still claiming that party without hanging his head can be taken seriously, anyway?

When we speak of Jeffersonian democracy we mean the democratic principles he espoused, or those like Jefferson. If one says an architectural column is Corinthian, he means that it is after the fashion of columns in Corinth. Christian, strictly speaking, means like or as Jesus Christ. That is, one who loves what Jesus loves and, yes, hates what Christ hates.

A vote is an endorsement, a partnering. Electing officials of either party who sustain the murder of children renders that voter an accessory.

Complicity is a fact. A vote for Kerry says Amen to Sodomy, Infanticide, and Socialism. Not every Democrat is wicked; many are merely stupid. Both strains may be forgiven, but not apart from repentance.

Salvation is not revoked for supporting advocates of these anti-Christ positions. That, like other sins, can be forgiven, but one can never so vote claiming Christ’s spirit. Christ Himself warned that many who allege to know Him (and who act in Thy name) shall to their everlasting terror find that He never knew them. What they call wonderful works, He declares works of iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Politics does not end with abortion, but it does begin with the right to life. For me, once a man supports the merciless butchery of babies, I find that his economic or energy proposals tend to lose charm. After all, Hitler’s economic plan worked, but Jesus would not have backed him.

John Kerry supports every bill to sustain the slaughter of 4,100 babies daily, yet found voice to label his Vietnam comrades-in-arms baby killers. Takes one to know one?

With all Americans, I mourn the loss of every soldier. But the Marine Corps is not a federal scholarship program, or the Navy a travel agency. In war, sadly, soldiers die. We have no draft; every man who fears war has the choice of staying home. A man unaware that he may die in war has no business joining the infantry. Kerry’s umbrage over the thousand soldiers lost in Iraq curiously does not extend to the 30,000,000 American babies his 20 years of abortion legislation have slain. He is responsible for more American dead than Hussein or Bin-Laden.

Is God a Republican? Worse; God is holy. In Mr. Jefferson’s words, “Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.” If anything is Christ-like, it is exposing pious self-deception and calling religious hypocrisy’s bluff wheresoever it strains to hide its nakedness with insufficient foliage. Jesus commanded His disciples in John 7:24, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Vote for Kerry or Satan or whatever deviant that party next nominates. Howl Heaven high, rage Hell deep and blacken this page with the fetid exhaust of your jaded hearts; vent all the desperate rationalizations you must contrive in order to sleep tonight, but this know, reader: every one of us shall answer to a righteous, holy God for the vote we cast. You may, in America, freely support Kerry, but, before God, you vote with bloody hands!

I volunteered a couple hours today working the phones at our local GOP HQ. It would have been longer but for the presence of Sandra, my 2-year-old.

Voted early and then took two handicapped people to vote early. Count that three votes for the President to stay in office and wage war on terrorists.
