Agreed. Rove gets most of the headlines, and deservedly so, but I have long thought that Karen Hughes is a great, unsung American hero. Very smart. Glad she's on our team!
I hear a lot of raving about Karl Rove, but I haven't seen him produce a whole lot. Honestly, I feel that the Bush campaign has dropped the ball on numerous issues, and I would not be surprised to see them lose this election. I kept waiting for them to drop the bomb on Kerry, but it never happened. As someone who keeps up on politics, I clearly see what a flawed candidate Kerry really is and I know that there are plenty of ways to rip him apart; however, I am just not seeing that translated well to the masses. The mainstream media has gone out of their way to push Kerry and ignore his flaws, but we knew that would happen going in. I expected Karl Rove (master strategist) to be able to circumvent that blockage and get the message out anyway. It just didn't happen. Can someone tell me what I am missing?
Many say you're mistaken. Many say he's a genius, he made Kerry say "Global Test", he made CBS go with the fake memos certain of the backlash, etc. etc.
But for me, you're dead-on correct.
He should pray thankfulness for the Swift Boat Vets and that the Dems chose Kerry.

All I needed to see... Karl is happy... President saw 100,000 today. Hannity asked for a number - Karl said 4 - 4 more years.
Karl was great. Sean had McAwful on after Mr. Rove and the segment ended up with Terry M. saying, "Hey, FoxNews . . . Fair and balanced, baby." To which Sean replied, "We had you on. That's as fair and balanced as we can get." LOL! Sorry . . . Made me laugh out loud. Go Sean!!! :-)
