Rove & Drudge May Have Faked Out DNC Lawyers??
National Review Online ^ | 11-2-2004 | NRO Online

Posted on 11/02/2004 7:44:42 PM PST by FrankRepublican

The huge margins for Kerry in the exit polling led the Dems to call off the lawyers (I've heard Lockhart and Estrich say so on FNC). They say the system worked, so no need to sue.

Now that it looks like Bush is doing MUCH better than the exit polls, the Dems are caught flat-footed.

A Rovian strategy?

This was on NRO. I was wondering why Matt was posting those dumb exit polls. My apologies to Matt.

Sounds like a huge risk. Could have demoralized Bush voters and kept them at home. I don't think Rove would have chanced it.

Okay...but how did Rove and Drudge get the Networks exit pollers to agree to post such heavy Kerry polling?

The exist polls was only a sample of 14,000 people over 50 states. Only a few hundred in each state. Totally unreliable polling. It was not some Rove conspiracy.

Possible, more likely flawed conclusions started by flawed assumptions made the exit polls meaningless.

The huge margins for Kerry in the exit polling

This is called "Drinking your own bathwater". Here you have a plot by the media to help get out the Kerry vote by fudging the exit polls and Kerry believes them? Can you imagine this guy as President?
