NPR just gave Wisconsin to sKerry. Kerry has 13,000 more votes than Bush.
NPR won't give Iowa and New Mexico to Bush even though his final tally gives him a margin of 12,000 and 16,000, respectively. Their stated reason: there are still absentee ballots to count.
Question: Does Wisconsin NOT have absentee ballots yet to add to the totals?
You were expecting fair and balanced?
They just can't let go of those states.
Deranged demonic mind has no reason
Notice too how the media suddenly forgot to mention the steep drop in oil prices yesterday.
The bias shows itself in sins of omission as well as commission.
Why would they call Wisconsin if the absentee ballots haven't been counted?
I believe they are in Iowa...many counties count them first, start just in time to have them done as the polls close.
NPR delende est.
To be fair, they still have to count the absentee voters (we do count, ya know...). Unless the total gap exceeds the number of absentee voter ballots they won't give a state.
Many absentee voters are given a bit more time than normal voters as we have to deal with foreign postal systems and long delays.
Maybe some brave Congress critter will someday make my day by pushing legislation that would make PBS's and NPR's funding come from a box checked off on one's federal tax return. And if folks didn't check, the corporation wouldn't get. Not from the taxpayer anyway.
Last I heard there were alot of military ballots overseas that have yet to come in that were delayed because the Democrats challenged the presence of Nader on the ballot in WI late and caused a delay in the mailing of the Absentee ballots out to the troops.
So the Republicans were trying to get Doyle to extend the deadline for absentee ballots......I don't know where that went....
Yes. This behavior by the networks and by the Democrats is exactly part and parcel of why the American people have rejected them at the polls.
It is pathetic and the bias is so overwhelming it shocks me all over again..just when I think I cannot be shocked ..I give credit to NBC...They called Ohio for Bush and Florida...but they cannot go that extra mile...
Fox took forever to call Florida ..but did call Ohio first.
.
Positive proof that NPR needs its public funding yanked right quick!
I read some DUmmie last night lamenting "I'll never vote again, (snivel, snivel). I'm still laughing.
Any absentee ballots (including all domestically-mailed absentee ballots) that made back by yesterday were counted during the day yesterday. That leaves any overseas absentee ballots that were postmarked by yesterday but not yet received (those must be received by November 12) and provisional "ballots". I doubt that they'll break to Bush by a 12,000-vote margin.
If the MSM "delivers" the last states to Bush, they'll be fired.
