As of today, Maine Secretary of State Dan Gwadosky's official website, still has no official count of last Tuesdays election. While Secretary of State Gwadosky, Maine's Secretary of State, is a very liberal democrat, has no problem declaring winners and looser, he and his partisan democratic staff, have yet to count the ballots and post the result.
So, how do we know who won and who lost? Which ballot issue pasted and which lost? Well, we asked the Secretary of State that very question and his answer was interesting to say the least. According to an e-mail we received from Gwadosky's office:
"Thanks for your message. Under Maine law, towns and cities have up to 3 business days to file their election returns with the Secretary of State. For now, the best place to obtain unofficial results is the Bangor Daily News' website. The link is listed below. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks again for writing.

Now think about that for a moment, first, it has been more than three days, second, The Bangor Daily News? Come on now, that paper has been in the back pocket of the Baldacci family for over twenty years. So while the Secretary of State sits on his hands, he let's the Baldacci family lackeys in the liberal left wing press declare the winners and losers?
Now, it get's even better, on the 3rd, Gwadosky released an official statement from his office:...

Why they're called Mainiacs?
This writer takes way too long coming to a point.
Maybe they just want to become as "important" as Florida bacame.
cheap
The Quebec votes are slow to come in.
how would we make it shorter?
I am having a hard time believing this. Are we being told that the elections officials of Maine have not counted the ballots? How did they arrive at numbers given to the national media?
Every election map I've seen has shown a red area in the middle of Maine with the rest of it in gray. But everything I've read says that Kerry won it all.
Who wrote this? Horrible grammar and sentence structure, atrocious spelling ("pasted" instead of "passed").
If it weren't for the name of the source (Christian-news-in-maine.com) and the anti-liberal content, I'd swear this was written by a recent graduate of one of the many liberal journalism schools (where they teach political activism instead of English).
Do they have that many people in Maine? Or does not anyone up there know how to count.
Maine has four electoral votes and proportional assignment. The winner in a congressional district gets that district's votes, the overall winner, the two extras. Four electoral votes are rarely as decisive as 27.
The "main" problem ........... "a very liberal democrat"!
Maybe they relied on those "extremely accurate" exit polls
Wouldn't it be a hoot if weeks after the election we found out Maine really voted for Bush?
I suppose after the big election enchilada there counts off his fingers and toes, he runs out of gas.

You should have seen all the sad looks in folks eyes here in lewiston wendsday. It was as if a family member had died. And there I am with a big smile on my face having a wonderful time. Victory never tasted to so good. What's the famous saying, it isn't enough to succeed, other must fail? God bless President Bush! Jim
Amazing.
I love Camden, but that sort of resort town attracts the worst sort of Democrat riff-raff.
Six people live in Maine what is the problem?
