What is it about American Politics that make people cling so desperately to simple answers? Rove was a PART of the win but not the cause of the win. The issue is far far more complex. The War, 9-11, Economic issues, Social issues etc etc etc. There are millions of reasons why people voted for Bush. Rove helped get the message out but he did not "Cause" the victory. The Dinasour media still does NOT get it. Bush is the real deal, not a Rove Crafted package marketed to the American people.

I agree that Karl Rove was not the sum total of this campaign, but if you don't have someone at the top who knows what they are doing and has a feel for the potential voters then all is lost(as in Democrats). I wish the people of Shelby County, Tn. had a Karl Rove.
