Comic bows to Japan's nationalists (China)

A popular Japanese comic announced yesterday that it would censor one of its own stories after nationalist anger about its portrayal of Japanese brutality during the Rape of Nanking.

Iris Chang reportedly suffered from clinical depression.

It's not hard to imagine that dealing at length, as she did, with the brutal massacre of as many as 370,000 and the rape and mutilation of up to 80,000 women and girls could lead to depression...
