However, "reasonable" and "common sense" are in short supply in the former yougoslavian regions.
Present-day Greece encompasses most of the famous "Macedonia" or "Macedon" that was ruled by Philip and his more famous son, Alexander the Great.
"Thrace" or "Thracia" seems to have referred more to present-day Bulgaria, but that's a cooler name.
