It IS really hard to keep that in mind when they lie, change positions, and generally pursue an agenda that will hurt people. I'm not always capable of keeping it in mind, but I do try.

And for the record, Billary saying shes an evangelical is an OBVIOUS LIE. okscopifjwofijalkdnvflkanvd

You're right. The article is NOT true...read the
intire blurb:

November 16, 2004, 8:25 a.m.
The Long View
A roundup of this week’s Church bulletins.

By Rob Long

EDITOR'S NOTE: This article appears in the November 29, 2004, issue of National Review.

Church Newsletters From All Over

From "Light the Lamp!": The monthly newsletter of the Holy Flame Pentecostal Church of Little Rock, Ark.

We welcome back to the area Senator Hillary Clinton (D., N.Y.), who has been spending so much time here in Little Rock lately that she's practically joined the church choir! "I'm here spending time at my husband's library," she told the Lamp when we caught up with her after a Sunday camp meeting, "and of course, I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints. As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative, if you want to know the truth, so it's nice to be 'home' again in the South, which I really consider my quote-unquote home even though I live in New York most of the time. Well, Washington, D.C., most of the time, actually, but if I'm not there I'm in New York, of course, but always thinking about being here, in the South, my spiritual home, where I shared so many wonderful evangelical . . . moments and . . . events. Can you read that back to me?"
The "Light the Lamp!" staff would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Christ loves all of us equally, and that God's house is open to all, even to senators from New York, so whoever is muttering stuff and saying mean things while pretending to cough can just quit it right now.

Hillary may better be identified as the Antichrist.

(You beat me by thaaat much. We might also look at Revelations 17.)

She IS not sKerry. She is very scary. sKerry was just a minion.

Isn't she a hoot? We're going to have fun with Hill during the next four years.

Tongue in cheek required. But you know that this is the new direction Hildabeast will turn. Again, the same old mantra "Say anything, do anything to win" from the left.

I forget who it was but I remember hearing a conservative republican say she always attends some sort of bipartisan faith meeting on Capitol Hill. Anyone remember that?

Not that it proves anything. Someone with enough ambition will do all sorts of things for years just to advance their personal agenda.

Don't be so hasty. By her own lights (bizarre though they may be) she may well be an "evangelical" Christian (but not a fundamentalist). She is well within that strain of Christian do-gooding that gave us the Social Gospel (popular among urban Methodists, who you will recall were later prominent in the civil rights movement) and the whole panoply of the current left-wing mainstream Protestant gestalt in which compassion and mercy are considered the chief virtues of a Christian, as evidenced by their support for every looney left cause out there. This can be motivated by an exaggerated reaction to the ills of the world combined with a modern world disinclination to be concerned with the importance of personal responsibility.

Bill's a Bible-believing Christian as well. Remember all those photos in front of the Foundry Church For Liberal Heretics in DC, with him holding up an enormous Bible for the press to photograph?

One such photo-op occurred on the very day he met Monica in the Oval Office, as I recall.

It's very tedious, but someone is going to have to follow Hillary around, staring tomorrow, and videotape every absurdity that comes out of her mouth for the next four years.

She is going to bring new meaning to the term, "flip-flop".

I'm sure the pagans are not fooled either. However I think they are in on it and will indulge her in her venture.

We're studying the Ten Commandments.

What part of "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" does she not understand?

After finding out that democrats don't have values the same as rest of America, I think they are overcompensating.

"How long before she finds her black and Jewish relatives?"

And how long before Hitlery tries a burqua on for size? I really expect she has it scheduled as a photo-op. 'Norman' would have a siezure. Hey, Savage! You heard it here first!

You're not wrong.

She found her Jewish connection several years ago. (Was it before or after Mad Maddy Halfbright and Kerry also found theirs?)

Hillary said that her step-grandfather was Jewish.

How's that for a connection? Not even a blood relationship, but it probably got her a few votes in NY.

Now for her to find Hispanic and black connections will be a major challenge!

But I'm sure she'll figure it out.
