An apologetic rapist was expected to get seven years behind bars for the gang rape of a Manhattan college student, but a Nassau judge was in no mood yesterday to oblige Elwin Alcantara.

"I want you deported as quickly as humanly possible. You have no business being around people," Nassau County Court Judge Jerald Carter told the Honduras native, before sticking him with a nine-year prison term.

9 years? Somehow that doesn't sound like nearly enough.

Outside the courtroom, Finkelstein said the Westbury rape victim was six months from graduating, but has not been able to return to college because she was left so traumatized.

This was also in the article. There are a few other gang rape articles there too, all involving illegal aliens. Scum like this are among the millions of illegals who enter our country yearly. There's no excuse in the world to allow the importation of an estimated 15 million illegal aliens into ANY country. I call it an invasion without a shot being fired.

Ok, what's a gang rapist? Is this someone who rapes gangs of girls or is part of a gang who rapes?

Personally I think deportation was a light sentence. Hell, the bastard will be right back here in this country as soon as they turn him loose in Honduras. Hell, that's how the vermin probably got here in the first place.

No lawyer, but I think there may be a suit here. The US knows we have millions of illegals, that 1/3 of the US prison inmates are illegals and the US did minimal if anything to stop the illegals from entering. Therefore the US Government knew or should have known that harm would befall one of its citizens as a result of their inaction. I also believe that the "sovereign" (The US) can be held liable in these circumstances. A few Billion of our tax money in awards should make the Gov't move on the illegal problem as there will be that much less pork for the politicians to use for their reelection etc.

He only became a rapist when he lost his job due to his employer being concerned about the government cracking down on employers of illegals.

We need amnesty now.

Whoops, did I forget the sarcasm tag?

Things like this will be less likely to happen when there's finally enough enlightened voters here, from South-of-the-border, to legalize prostitution.

Soon we'll have as many legal houses of ill-repute in our communities as, that model of advanced civilization, Mexico.

Who says nothing good will ever come of erasing our borders?

Chagas disease, anyone?

The local police just busted a Hispanic prostitution ring about 2 weeks ago.

I guess we need amnesty for that crime, too.
