I think the numbrs (as far as re-elections) are stacked in the Dems favor in 2006.

Disagree. The class of 94 had their down year in 2000. All the tough seats except Santorum and Conrad Burns went democrat.
Abraham lost to Stabenow. Ashcroft lost to Carnahan. Corzine beat Franks. Bill Roth lost to Carper. Bill Nelson beat McCollum. Ben Nelson beat a Republican. Dayton defeated Grams.

The dems have a lot of tough defenses.
