The insult is to black women because when a black man becomes a millionaire they often marry whiltes. Some white females find blacks attractive regardless of income but so often rich blacks in the public eye get married to whites.

It was totally out of place and time. I turned on ABC to watch Monday Night Foorball. I think Madden and his broadcasting partner were both embarrassed by it, also.
Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be fired and given a job like trash can garbage man. It was offensive to me.
Michelle Phillips daughter is Chynna Phillips who was the looker in Wilson-Phillips (remember the early 90's group ?).
Tony Dungy comaplained about it. He didn't like the fact that they used NFL people as opposed to ABC people. Can you imagine John Madden doing that? He also didn't like the
black man/white woman setup, especially just after the Kobe Bryant case.
