Probably took all night to find someone who could spell his name to properly book him.

Someone made the comment on TV that 40% of NBA players are convicted felons. I'm guessing this is too high, but does anyone have an accurate percentage?

Here you go:

Read the book Out of Bounds: Inside the NBA's Culture of Rape, Violence, and Crime by Jeff Benedict. In it he not only states the 40% figure, but documents it thoroughly.

Professional sports desperately needs a house cleaning, and the NBA is a good place to start. Let it be known that if they want to drink, fight, rape, and be thugs with drugs, fine, but it won't be on NBA money. Law breaking thugs need to be tossed out. At some point the league will clean up, and we will watch athletes, not jackasses.

Or society will do what I have already done.

We watch Atlanta Braves baseball, the World Series (especially if Atlanta is in it), The Super Bowl, and my wife sometimes watches NASCAR.

The rest of "professional" sports has been kicked to the curb.

The nickname of the Portland Trailblazers is the Portland Jailblazers. Does that tell you something.
