No. Reagan was a true conservative, but he made mistakes.
He was also man enough to admit them.

Allow me to say that there are many things I admire about Mr. Bush: He carries and handles himself well, he did not stoop to the United Nation, etc.

However, I would like to respectfully encourage you to look at an invaluable resource http://www.bushrevealed.com
and also draw your attention to a few certain points and questions. To wit:

Yes, it is true Mr. Bush claims to be a Christian or "born again". Yet, Bush said Muslims and Christians worship the same "God". Wrong! It is also true that George W. Bush knelt before a Shinto shrine during a visit to Japan. The Japan Times reported:

"U.S. President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, on Monday visited Meiji Shrine, a major venue for Shinto worshippers in Tokyo. Bush and the first lady paid their respects by bowing in front of the main shrine hall
before signing a registry book, including a brief comment on their visit. Japanese Christian leaders confirm that
the Bushes engaged in pagan worship and not just a show of respect. The Japanese news services used the religious
term sanpei to describe the worship performed by the Bushes at the temple."

In the Bible, God says, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God. . ." Would a Christian kneel before the shrine of another god? This, I believe, is one of the most serious issues we can look at in this discussion. Would a Christian bow and pay homage to a god of devils? Not to mention the utter insult to Japanese Christians who refuse to pay homage to this false god shrine. If Bush himself is a Christian, his actions were a "smack in the face" to the noble Christians of Japan and in outright violation of the First Commandment.

Ironically, Mr. Bush was a member of the satanic Skull and Bones society during his tenor at Yale. One initiation a wannabe member must participate in before admission to this elite, secret society is lying in a casket (the Satanists call this process being "born again". I ask you, being "born again" of whom?) and other acts which I shall not mention here for the sake of decency. Many members of this society become high ranking American officials. One such member is Senator John F. Kerry (D-Mass.). Also, the Bush family is known to have generational witchcraft in their family which goes back to George W. Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush. The President has admitted to being a part of this Satanic society, but has not denounced it. Would not a Christian believer denounce any satanic associations or connections, especially if he had left it?

Concerning the President being a conservative, he REWARDED the Alabama Attorney General, Bill Pryor, who prosecuted the "Ten Commandments Judge", the Hon. Roy S.
Moore, with a federal judgeship AFTER Bill Pryor's active assault on our Judeo-Christian heritage.

Also, Bush claims to support marriage between one man and one woman. Yet, Mr. Bush has praised a pro-Sodomite church(worldnetdaily.com article), has said that Dick Cheney (whose daughter is a lesbian) has a wonderful family. This type of relationship is, no doubt, blasphemous and wicked in the sight of Almighty God and ought to be rejected as unBiblical and a perversion of God's holy and ordained order.

Likewise, I will never forget the evening a few years ago, after Mr. Bush was elected president for the first time, when I watched an interview(20/20, I believe) between the President and Barbra Walters of ABC News. Mrs. Walters asked the President if he believed God placed him in office for this time. President George W. Bush said "no", he didn't. Would a Christian deny God's hand in his life?

May we not forget President Bush's implementation of the USA Patriot Act and Homeland Security Bill which defaced the recognization of many of our civil liberties. Mr. Bush still defended the Patriot Act recently during the Bush-Kerry debate in St. Louis. What a shame. A so called "Christian" president working against the liberty of his own people. Many folks point at Clinton, saying how he lied under oath. Please also recognize that when Mr. Bush pushed through the Patriot Act that he violated his sacred oath of office to uphold and support the U.S. Constitution, and that he continues to defile this oath by continuing his defense of the Constitution-ignoring Patriot Act.

To abandon my principles, Constitution, and heritage, and abate a man who pays "lip service" to Christians, but whose heart and actions are far from God's principles and what our forebearers sacrificed their very blood to protect, would be to abandon my conscience before my God. This I cannot do. The Bible says, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)

My fathers fought against tryannical government in the War for American Independence. Again, they drew their swords against tyranny in the War for Southern Independence. Although we "lost" the latter war, the ultimate goal isn't to WIN. They fought because it was their DUTY. We must fight because it is our DUTY. We must fight to kept our honour clean. Personally my voice must, and will, oppose Mr. Bush as long as he opposes the
Constitution of these United States and continues to embrace what are abominations in the sight of God. Men sacrificed their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honour in opposition to tyranny in this land. Their blood has soaked the hills and valleys of these States. I cannot hold that cheap.

May we pray for the President, that Almighty God would show him where he errs and change his heart; may we also pray for God's infininte mercy on us, and diligently examine and ponder the straightness of the road we travel.

To the defense of American Liberty,
I do pledge my life, my fortune, and my most sacred honour,

A Fellow Young American Southerner,

B. M. C.
