The director and quite a few others are homosexuals who make films to market their fetish to America. "Awards" don't always equal "quality". Sometimes they are presented to offer "political support". Just ask Michael Moore.
Correction: It's anti-Judeo-Christian-religion. Rest assured they have no problem with Buddhists or Homosexual Indian Holy People or any of a hundred others. It's only Christ who scares 'em.
