Will she or won't she? Hillary keeps 'em guessing
US News- Washington Whispers ^ | 12/06/04 | Paul Bedard

HHillary, Hillary, Hillary. Is there any other name that creates the political buzz that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton 's does? Maybe not, but some friends and allies advise against placing bets that the former first lady will be the nation's 44th president. They report that the New York Democrat isn't so sure about a run for the White House. "She's not running," says one supporter. The thinking in the "don't run" campaign is that Clinton is well aware of the partisan feelings she generates. "People love her or they hate her," says an adviser. "There's very little gray area to gain voters in." Friends also worry that a GOP attack machine would turn the race into a bitter replay of Clinton's cattle futures profits, the Whitewater scandal, and her failed healthcare plan. So why not just shoot down the speculation? First, some say it's too early to shut the door. Others say she's being coy to attract donations for her 2006 Senate re-election campaign and for the re-election efforts of other Democrats. "She loves the Senate," says a friend, "and she can be a kingmaker there if she wants." GOP strategists scoff. "Oh, she's running," says one.

With Hitlery's and Slick Willie's aversion to truth and candor (cats and water come to mind), it's a safe bet that when she says she won't, she will.

Who cares.

Any ink or band-with devoted to this female is wasted.

I prefer to think of her pressing to send in the tanks at Waco.

Relax.

Like Pat Buchanan said, she has absolutely no hope of winning outside the bluest of the blue states - she's THAT antagonizing!

The next Democratic will be someone like John Edwards or a high-profile state Governor.

Rudy will take her place in the Senate, rendering her a historical footnote and consigning the Clintoons to the asheap of history where they belong.

Me too, me too! We're going to hear a lot of speculation on what her plans are, though. I don't know if she'll run or not, maybe she's just waiting for her adoring minions to get on their knees and beg.

Since the Swift Vets were blessed with success in getting the truth out about sKerry, and thereby obtaining his defeat...then we need to do the same for Hitlery.

FreeRepublic DOES have its OWN version of 'Swift Vets'.

Hitlery running for office COULD VERY WELL BE what is needed to bring the klintoon regime to light/scrutiny/prosecution.

Naturally, she isn't going to say 'yes' until after her Senate race. She needs that Senate seat as a platform; otherwise, she only has 1 Senate term of experience.

AFTER she wins reelection (probably a certainty), she will start spending as much time in the Senate as Kerry did and spend more time locking down the nomination.

As much cover as MSM gave Kerry, Hillary would expect the same and more. Ironically, Hillary actually has accomplished more in her 1 Senate term (so far) than Kerry did in 20 years in the Senate.

Her adoring minions include the slavering presstitutes who are now forced to worship her. Having invested so much capital in creating the Clinton myth of greatness, they are stuck with the grifting, shrill Hillary as their party's savior--the Sink Emperor's lack of clothes having been exposed and his ugly legacy still being written. Gott run, have a great weekend....

Don't know if Hillary will get it but I'm sure it will be a dem...

Heard on FOX News this a.m. that President Bush is considering appointing Wild Bill Clinton to the position of special envoy to Israel to reign in the peace talks...

We like to think we know what Bush is up to, but this maneuver, the FTAA and wide open borders, etc...So who's crazier, Bush, or me who voted for him???

Methinks The Hildabeaste is more interested in making queens.

If her private polling shows she could win; she will run.
If her polls show she will lose; she won't. There is no way Hillary won't run if she believes she will win.

"As much cover as MSM gave Kerry, Hillary would expect the same and more"

I think the rules would be different for Shrillary. Kerry was an unknown outside of MA, so the old media basically didn't have to do anything....but they did. They fawned all over him and gave him the most gushing, praising press of any Presidential candidate in US history. But the thing is, they we're called on this to the extent that has also never been seen in history by the new media.

With Shrillary, everything is changed. She's not an unknown, so any attempt by the old media to try to pull a Jean Francois Kerry, will be met by an extremely hostile and ticked off new media and they know it. They've also seen just how much credibility and relevancy they've lost. If they try to treat her the same as Jacque Kerry, they will lose more than they already have.
