And nearly 3 months after Ivan ransacked Pensacola, I still have a blue tarp on my roof and am still fighting with my POS insurance company. I have not seen a single dime yet and have in excess of $20,000 damage to my home.

Who is your insurance company? Doesn't Florida have an insurance commissioner to whom you can complain? Insurance companies don't sell policies in a state without the state's permission.

USAA. And since Pensacola is predominantly military and retired military and there are hundreds, if not thousands of people in the same boat as I am, they're probably headed for a class action lawsuit that will cut them off at the the knees. I have not called the insurance commissioner yet. I have given them to Friday (tomorrow) to tell me what I want to hear. If not, then there will be two phone calls, one to the Insurance commissioner, and one to my neighbor, who is a very prominent attorney and loves to go after insurance companies.
