Howard Dean says Democrats must campaign on their convictions and not give in to the temptation to behave 'like Republicans.'
Speaking today to still enthusiastic supporters at George Washington University, the defeated presidential candidate said Democrats need to be agresssive in defining the debate.
One year ago, Former Vermont Governor Dean syrocketed from obscurity to early front runner in the Democratic Primaries based on his refusal to pull punches.
He seems to be doing the same thing now-criticizing Democrats who are unwilling to make themselves a clear alternative to President Bush.
After the speech, Dean refused to answer questions about whether he has decided to enter the expanding field of candidates for Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
But he clearly indicated he is interested.
Stick with convictions?! They have convictions?
Love your sreen name! Dean Screamer will be on CSPAM 2 tonight at 10:05 ET with this speech..
"Stick with Convicts! Yeaaaarrrrrrrrghhhhh!!!!"
Some indictments but few convictions. No controlling legal authority...
If those convictions mean having Dean as DNC head, then I am all for ii! We will get 60 Senate seats for sure in 2006..
Gay Marriage, Abortion, higher taxes..Dean definitely needs to get out there and spread the good word!
Yes. Having majorities in both houses of Congress, the Presidency, and the majority of statehouses definitely qualifies as "Republican behavior".
Keep flappin' your jaws and self-marginalizing, Howie.
Someone said today he was going to Florida to 'campaign' for the head of the DNC position..he's delusional!
Every where except in the Ninth Circuit!!!
The socialist agenda (don't let them get away with the terms "liberal" or "progressive"). Call them Marxists where appropriate.
I hesitate to call them commies because some people have a resistance to that word (true as it may be at times). Certainly there is no doubt that the Communist Party funded the inital antiAmericanwar protests last year.
And the crowd will be egging him on the whole time furthering his insanity and delusions of grandeur.
Oh, goodie! I hope they stick with their convictions so we can win big again in the mid-terms and in '08!!
I saw Sean Hannity endorsed Hillary in '08 as the Democratic nominee last night..lol!
When they lose, the Dims get even crazier!
Liberals are drawn together, not so much by mutual conviction, but rather by common AFFLICTION!
