I was making a point that CS Lewis made in some writing or other that it is foolish to speak of God in terms of having been created since part of the definition of God is his own omnipotence and omnipresence.

If God has always existed, why can't the same be said of the universe?

Except he made the universe...and even the concepts of
emptiness and fullness! ("He stretches out the heavens like a curtain...")
