Life is not easy sometimes. Ask any adult. I know people who have endured much worse than this guy. I feel bad for his depression and his failure to get help for it but the writer of the article seems to have a need to flog himself. I don't see it.

He didn't go gentle into that good night. Is it possible to misinterpret the meaning of this line more completely than the author of this piece, Scott Herhold, did? Dylan Thomas' poem is a denunciation of suicide or any other behavior that is accepting of death, and Herhold dimwittedly applies it to a suicide! Rage Rage against the dying of the light Go not gentle into that good night. He's a liberal reporter.... they don't have to study the meaning of the text they read or write... they just have to like the way it makes them FEEL or if it sounds COOl.

Lord knows if he'll screw up. He's doing quite well in that department so far. If he tries to hang himself by his tie in his top floor office, he might end up with a broken neck.

Interesting. I didn't. In fact, I get "Welcome Guest" but also the story, and the upper right has a link to click to to register:
Most peculiar. In any case, for future reference, you can go to Bug Me Not to bypass having to register.

Typical reaction of those around a suicide, and rather self-absorbed, if you ask me.

I know nothing about this story or this reporter, but that's life in a free-market economy. Adapt the shifting flow of the stampede or be trampled.

"...died Friday of self-inflicted gunshot wounds..." I quoted the first article, not the so-called coroner's report, G. Take a pill.

And I quoted SFC Chromey, not you... but I thought you'd like to see the weapon of demise listed, as you said you were "wondering" about it.
Pop a red pill for me, too, k? ;-)
