I just emailed them because I would love to hear Laura Ingraham nightly rather than one of the shrinks. I am sure they will change their programming just to accommodate my wishes...right?

Get an XM satellite radio and listen to Laura every weeknight, along with Michael Reagan, Tony Snow, etc. Plus the music channels are awesome.

It's beyond AM, it's beyond FM. It's radio to the power of X!

I didn't really think about your screen name when I posted. I'm not sure if XM transmits to Canada.

Counselors would be available Friday, Karmazin said, to assist students or faculty members shaken by the arrest.

Why? I can't take this any longer....are they to tell them to hide their stash?

I think it was Rush who discussed this a week or so ago. WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS? Shouldn't they be the ones to discuss this with the children? As he said, God only knows what the counsellors are telling the kids.

I'm not against vouchers and school choice, but what happened here isn't a great reason for having vouchers. There are scandals like this at every type of school, public or not. It happens everywhere.

Our emails worked! Well...okay, something worked. I heard Tom this morning saying that Laura Ingraham will take over his time slot on Christmas Eve.

Keep us informed of the machinations on the island.

Staff should be told that the principal is under arrest for dealing/using drugs and that should that. Period.

This doesn't require a bunch of counselors talking up a storm and taking time away from the curriculum.

I agree! In fact, they should tell the kids that he broke the law, and now he has to take his punishment.

Anything else should come from the parents.

I just saw an interview with a Catholic priest on Grand Island on Channel 7 news. He said he was torn about whether to allow the principal to participate in the Xmas concert or not and that he has not been found guilty yet.

We seem to have a double standard going on: one for the bus driver unceremoniously fired for exercising her First Amendments Rights and one for a druggie principal who is still being paid his enormous salary while "on leave".

What??!!

You mean just for Christmas Eve? She has guested for him before. Or do you mean from Christmas Eve and onward? That would be super-de-duper if true.

Just for Christmas Eve. I've never heard Laura Ingraham on Tom's show. Did I miss something?

Tom will then be subbing for Sandy on their traditional children's call-in show.

I know that Leslie Marshall subbed for Tom one week. I heard only five minutes of her saying that Bush was selected, not elected, and I turned off 930 morning show for the rest of the week, and complained to the program director.

I don't know if you were listening to 930 twelve years ago when she was here for one year, but she caused more local trouble than a plague of locusts. She tried to turn everyone against our police on a drummed-up charge. Then she tried to turn everyone against the Bishop. Then she told about ALL the men she had sex with in her various cars. I was told that some guy who was new in town had to share an apartment with her, and he claimed she had a revolving door on her bedroom. When she subs, I disappear, and I let them know about it.
