His parents divorced when he was two. He saw his dad after the divorce before he, his dad, dies in a car crash. How is it that Kerrik was a hero for having a prostitute mom and did not know his dad but you want to knock Obama because he parents were divorced and he actually had a relationship with his dad? Hmmm....

Your post reminds me of Alan Keyes rhetoric during the campaign that he is blacker than Obama. How laughable.

Maybe it has something to do with his resume and level of victory. He beat Keyes by over 40% points. His resume: Columbia grad, Harvard Law grad, editor of the Harvard Law Review, and countless hours working on behalf of displaced workers and the poor.

Barack Obama ?

As a quarterback I think he is highly overrated.

The Dems love him because he sounds so reasonable and articulate/likable. However, the longer he stays in the Senate (voting), the more this same record will be an anchor around his neck, just like most senators.

I'm sure his mega-bucks book deal (which skirted senate ethics rules, ala Hillary) will really help the poor. Yeah, right. And this guy has been complaining about not having enough money to live on as a senator. Until that big-advance book deal was signed!

As for Obama's margin of victory, the Illinois GOP is moribund as a politcal force (due to George Ryan, Jack Ryan, total arrogance, abandonment of conservative principles, among other reasons): Dan Hynes, state comptroller here in Illinois who lost to St. Barack in the Dem primary, would've won by a similar margin over Ambassador Keyes.

I notice that most of your posts defend your Saint Obama? How have your five weeks on FR been, immigrationreformactivist?
