Aragorn a pacifist? You use a different dictionary than I do.

Viggo, as Aragorn = a pacifist king.

pacifism (pas'e-fiz'em) n [Fr. Pacifisme < pacifique, pacific < OFr. - See PACIFIC.] 1. The belief that disputes between nations should and can be settled peacefully. 2. a. Opposition to war or violence as a means of resolving disputes. b. Such opposition demonstrated by refusal to participate in military action. - pac'i-fist n. - pac'i-fist'tic adj. - pac'i-fis-ti-cal-ly adv.

Viggo opened his big mouth during TTT about how much of a big antiwar person he was, even read a poem out loud that he wrote. Basically, Viggo was a hypocrite by playing a character that is a leader of men into battles, when he claims he believes the exact opposite of what his character does.

If Aragon had shared Viggo's pacifism, imagine what Aragon would have done to prevent a war with Sauron. Kinda like the UN with its useless sanctions.
