The Democrats are just sore losers and have determined to not allow Bush to gain any respect in regard to his handling of anything, especially disasters. The Democrats are scared to death that there will be another groundswell of nationalism in response to the latest world disaster.

and brightest - Robert Mcnamara, Dean Rusk, McGeorge Bundy.
