Parental Rights Battle Tomorrow at Roseville School Board!

Parental Rights Battle Tomorrow at Roseville School Board!

The battle continues in Roseville! Tomorrow evening, January 4 (Tuesday), the Roseville High School Board will discuss changing their district policy to allow children (as young as age 12) to leave campus for confidential medical services without parental notification.

We hope that, if you live in the area, you will be able to attend! Even if you do not have children in the school district, your voice is needed to protect parental rights. In a recent phone survey in the county, more than 84 percent of persons surveyed said that parents should always be notified any time children leave school campus for medical services. Unfortunately, the local teachers unions and the liberal CTA, has requested that the board enact a policy that goes against the values of the Roseville constituents and takes parents out of the equation.

You may be wondering why you're getting yet another e-mail about the Roseville School Board and parental rights. Although CRI works to preserve parental rights in many school districts across the entire state of California, we believe that Roseville is a significant precedent-setting district. Many school districts in California havelooked to Roseville's policy and used it as an example. Protecting parental rights in Roseville helps to protect parental rights across the state of California. This is why we must fight this battle!

Capitol Resource Institute will be speaking at the meeting tomorrow in Roseville to defend parental rights. We would like to ask you to please attend this important meeting if you are able! Also, if you are willing, we would like to invite you to speak at the podium (a few sentences is all that is necessary) to express to the school board why you think that minor children should not be let out of school without parental knowledge!

This is about children having abortions without their parents knowing about it. Planned Parenthood is behind this and works in lockstep with the NEA and CTA Marxists. If you (or anyone you know) are anywhere in the area, PLEASE get out to this and face down these diabolical profiteers! Thanks.

Good golly, forget abortion! Someone could use that to snatch a kid...which, imo, is much more likely than a 12 year old getting an abortion.

(I'm thinking mostly of non-custodial parent type kidnappings, FTR).

ANYONE that is STUPID enough to leave you kids in ANY CA Public School System deserves what you get!

In this country, when something happens to a child, some adult is officially responsible.

If one of these kids is abducted or hit by a car, who will be the responsible adult, and will this adult be attached to deep pockets - say, the taxpayers?

I live in Rocklin (right next to Roseville). I see kids walking around all day every day--from young to young adult.

I guess it's a sign of the times that the lunatics with the school board need to debate this. How much longer are we going to pour money down the Department of Education's various RAT-HOLES?

I know what the state attorney general has said on this subject. Just chalk that A.H. up as one more roadblock on the highway to reason and sanity.

Actually, many CA school systems are directly defying this STATE law.

Would you rather they just obey the state law without debate?

84% of the parents oppose this plan, yet the School Board supports this plan (I assume, since this is a call to action). I'm sure the majority (probably vast majority) of adults without school-age kids oppose this plan.

What am I missing here? I thought that the School Board members in California were elected by the adults. Who's electing these people?

I guess if enough people are annoyed about this, they could contact the state legislature and Arnold and tell them to change the law or there won't be much of a public school system left in CA.

Politicians love the public schools. They wouldn't be able to bear not having them to fret over.

Small world. I used to live in Rocklin as well. You know the DMV on Rocklin Rd., just down from from the police station? Yeah, I lived in the granite house that used to be there.

I live in San Bernardino. Anything done by the NEA and Planned Parenthood cannot be of redeeming social value...

Here's a California Assembly/Senator database:

C'mon Placer County! You guys are clearly red map residents.
Don't let "those people" do this to you.

I went to the swearing in of three Nevada County Supervisors
this afternoon. Conservatives now hold all five district
seats even with all the 60's throwbacks residing in Nevada
City.

We're with you, R-ville!

Thanks anyway, but your link doesn't do me any good without knowing which Roseville district this school is in.

The school has no such custody rights over children since they do not pay.THey are only making children even more foreign from their own parents...not too smart... after that teachers complain children do not respect them and treat them like crap and have no discipline... only poetic justice. This is insane. Why would the cops let that happen? What a bunch of nazies.
