COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- A 4,000-pound buoy has washed ashore in Cocoa Beach and no one seems to know exactly where it came from.
The 20-foot long green cylinder was first spotted bobbing just off shore, but is now resting on the sand near 24th Street.
The National Weather Service says it's not one of its devices used to measure waves and gather other information.
The Coast Guard says it could be a navigational buoy, but it isn't missing any either.

... watched a great show on the History channel about when we 'tapped' the communication lines off the coast of Russia during the cold wars ... when they found one ( Sent a repair crew to fix the bad line & they found the device with a lot of 'made in the US' / 'property of US Military' stamped on all of the electronics ) ... hmmmmm ....

I wonder why these news people write stories of such things without pics. Very frustrating.

Looks like Teddy has worked his way up to a B-Cup. But he seems to have one growing under his arm.

Who says it has to be U.S.?
This thing could have been floating around the ocean for months/years.

That is a seriously disgusting picture. That man's breasts are trying to escape his body out the back.
