"Help from Marines rejected"
Not surprised at all.
They'd rather their own people die of thirst and starvation.
Sickening.

This is the critical reason why we as individuals and as a nation should keep control of our relief funds. We have given so much, and the thought that our taxpayer dollars, donated by our government to the relief effort in this tragic situation, might now be in the hand of and at the disposal of the United Nations breaks my heart! I feel betrayed.

Pull our funds and our people out where we are not welcome.

Journalists Told To Keep Quiet On Aceh (Indonesia) Skirmish! (R.O.P. Update!)Posted on 01/07/2005 10:08:13 AM PST by underwiredsupport.
I would provide a link but don't know how. The Islamo Thugs are already starting trouble with Indonesian troops. The US troops are a ripe target seeing that they are probably unarmed and clearly marked. Fortunately I haven't given a dime to any relief efforts except my taxes of course. Its all over the place to dole out. Work, neighborhood, radio, news. I don't see any guarantee from any organization that this money or aid will be used by the Islamo Thugs to control the people like in Somalia.

Obviously Floridians living in their driveways in mobilehome trailers because a few hurricanes ate their real homes is just old news now and yesteryears feelgood craze.
So if Dubya walks away from tsunami aid with our check uncashed, well, that'll be fine with me. Political ingrates, all of em!
Gall, a mile high.
