Someone commented about it last night and said that she was wearing a beautiful red gown, but I missed her on tv. I catch a brief glimpse of her at the inauguration though, in a coat with a fur collar and a fur hat to match. She looked stunning, very sophisticated. It left me wondering why she can't look like that all the time, she'd get a lot more respect from the stupid shallow Democrats. Brilliant, talented and gorgeous all at the same time would leave them quaking in their boots. (Geez, that sounds too much like a Dan Rather saying).
Who was that handsome man she was with during the parade?
I think Condi is very tastefully and beautifully dressed all the time...at least whenever I have seen her. You don't think so?
I understand from another thread that the man is one Gene Washington, former football player. Apparently she has been dating him for some time.
If the Democrats do not respect Condi's brains, why would they think anymore of her appearance?
I agree. Coupled with looking good was her radiant glow.
No, a DanRatherism would be more like "Condi was as pretty as a piece of popcorn on an old sawgrass tree."
I've never seen Rice when she wasn't appropriately dressed. Understated elegance appears to be her preference.
Rice is a serious person with a serious job. Looking like a fashion plate, or a Manhattan socialite, is probably not a good idea and would most likely reduce her credibility.
