Michael Medvid sure put the Acadamy Awards ceremony in it's place yesterday morning. On Laura Ingerham's show, he mentioned that at Carson's heyday, he was watched by millions of Americans each evening. In fact, the night Tiny Tim was married on the Show, more viewers watched that show than will be watching the Oscars this year.

That's an amazing factoid, and it sure speaks volumes about how meaningless the Oscars have become.

Haven't watched the Oscars in about 10 years. I catch bits and pieces of it but trying to watch Crystal or Whoopie for more than 5 minutes is a bit overbearing for me. Now they pick pedophile movies as movie of the year, Barf !

Chris Rock is hosting this year, the racial insults will be flying. Take away race cheap shots and Chris ain't funny anymore.
