W.C. FIELDS MUST HAVE BEEN AN AZTEC

I remember when he was asked how he liked children, and he replied, "Roasted".

Who can honestly say that they haven't cook, skinned, and ate humans? I know I have!

OK...I demand reparations and a public apology from all decendants of the Aztecs to all of us whose great, great (great great great great) grandparents were, or may have been harmed or treated meanly or partially devoured by these heathens!

Perhaps a nice tidy $250,000 would do it for me (tax free of course!).

The Carib Indian word for roasted human arm is BBQ. The origin of the word.

Cortes burned his ships to motivate his men, and the mission in the beginning was more about gold than souls. When the Spaniards saw just what the Aztecs were, their goals changed a bit.

The tactics used by the Spanish were brutal and devastating, but remember a few HUNDRED men conquered an empire. Not because of disease or technology alone, but because most of the population wanted a change.

Cortes walks in on two Aztecs eating another man. One starts at the head and works down. The other starts at the feet and works up. Cortes says to the first Aztec, "How're you doin'"? First Aztec says, "I'm havin' a ball." The second Aztec looks up and says,"You're eatin' too fast".

Anyone yet blaming Christopher Columbus for having given the Aztecs the original recipes?

Ain't it funny how the Lefties sometimes trot out a few Aztec dancers for their anti-war rallies?

IMHO, the definitive work on the Aztec culture is "Aztec", by Gary Jennings. Absolutely unbelievable piece of work. Jennings researched Aztec culture for a decade before writing this book.

You won't be able to put it down. Just go get it........
