Just replace the "HOSTS" file in your Windows system. Here is the location of it, %systemroot$\system32\\drivers\etc with one that I can provide, for free! Or you can make your own. It is only 410k in size. And you can look at it with any Text editor, to check it out! Just freep me if you want it and I can provide you a URL to Download it, for free!

How about an easier solution - use Firefox.

I swept with ad-aware and spybot, which are two different spy ware eliminators easily available for free download on the Internet. Of course once you remove them they will just come back to you the next time. So before you remove them jot down there names (it will show you on the programs). And then go to your Internet explorer task bar and click on tools, then Internet options, then security tab restricted and then sites and put them in there so your system will not download them. I did that and it worked like a charm. There are 4 of them that keep coming up when you go to his site. I don't recall the name of two of them, but the other two are tribalfusion.com and doubleclick.net or .com.

My fix is even easier:
I just don't go to the Drudgery Report, ever.

I remember when Drudge used to have a link to freerepublic. He dropped it without giving a reason. Maybe he doesn't like to reveal his sources? Anyway, he treats us like crap, who needs his hollywood gossip.

I know an easier way. I just don't go to Drudge at all. After one time when one of the ads on that site tried to download a spyware program (caught by adaware) I took Drudge off my list altogether. I won't return until the site stops doing this nonsense.
I recommend that action to everyone.
