Huh? He is tenured at a public college, and thus has ZERO chance of being fired. And if he is fired, he has a nearly 100% chance of regaining his job through the courts. It is unfortunate. But by making him a national "star" we are in effect creating a 2nd Chomsky--who will now make tons of cash catering to the far left, and have student flocking to him like flies on shit--where he would have remained obscure and irrelevant had we simply ridiculed and dismissed him outright.
WC has lied about who and way he is;perpetrated a fraud on a public institution. By claiming to be a member of a tribe (actually many DIFFERENT tribes, over the years!),which he is not,he can be fired. Will they fire him? I don't know;I'm not a mind reader nor a prophet. But unlike you,I know the facts about this man and his situation.
It really isn't wise to talk about things you neither know all that much about, nor understand. Why have you done this?
What if Churchill were found to have lied on his resume when he applied for a job at U. of Colorado? (E.g., about his American Indian ethnicity, OR about his supposed military service.)
If it turns out there are lies in his resume, wouldn't that be cause for firing, even in a public tenure system?
