The only thing going for us is that she has incredibly high negative perception. I do know Democrat women (married incidentally) who say they'd never vote for her.
I wonder what percentage of men will say they'd vote for Hillary to a woman pollster and say they won't to a man, especially if the pollster presents a bias against Hillary.
I would be very surprised if her negatives with men aren't far higher than Kerry's. I think you would see many men who never vote coming out to vote against her.

She is cunning, not smart. Let's face it, to become a US Senator with zero quals is not something that a total idiot can do.
But she clearly thinks that she can "triangulate" and no one will notice that she is rushing to the center -- and she is hoping that everyone will give her the pass Slick Willie got.
If she doesn't run in 2008, it will prove her intelligence. She will secure her curious role in history forever in a sort of smiling nod.
If she runs in 2008 she will be destroyed in history books forever as the Ultimate Flip Flopper who abandoned her base and ended Liberalism as any kind of political force. The polarizing effect of such a run, which will pretty much end any hopes of any Deaniacs for at least a generation, will also demonstrate once and for all that she is not very smart, shrewdness be damned.
All this without running Condi.
