Am I the only one who finds Jane Fonda's new announcement grating? What irritates me is that she's a loud-mouth feminist who is supposed to be above the bourgeois preoccupation with looks and appearance. Instead, she's spent most of the last 30 years of her professional life hawking exercise videos --and binging and purging to do it.

I thought she had already revealed she was bulimic way back when her exercise programs were all the rage. She put it in the past tense. Guess she fooled herself in thinking she was cured.
I can burn her easy on many things, but anyone struggling with this or other issues deserves slack (on this one issue only).

At the same time, I have heard, {no source and not sure if it's true} that Fonda a couple years back started going to a church in Atlanta, where she became a born-again Christian. I have heard that her husband, Ted Turner, wanted nothing to do with that, and the marriage ended as a result.Well, that phase lasted about as long as it took to shed Ted. Now she's involved with the Vagina Monologues cult instead.
