COMMANDER IN CHEF A VERY TALL ORDER
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | 2/19/5 | Carol Ness

Job constraints, politics make White House unappetizing to many Bay Area food stars -

The White House is shopping for a new chef. But despite the Bay Area's national status as a culinary capital, no one really expects the search to focus here.

"I don't think they'll be calling,'' says renowned chef Nancy Oakes of Boulevard in San Francisco. "I think my name is on a list of fund-raisers for John Kerry.''

Even food, it seems, comes in red and blue.

The idea of going to the White House drew guffaws from many local chefs, staunch Democrats who say they would not serve even if asked.

But not everyone mixes politics with food. . . .

Why look out in the Blutopia of Californicationia for some foo-foo chef anyways? Get a good old fashioned BBQ cook from the south and be done with it.

Aids/hepatitis/STD/infected lunatic leftie chefs from San Francisco couldn't pass the health test and background check to even be allowed to get on the White House Grounds.

This is nothing but a phoney baloney story created by a whacked out gay agenda pusher posing as news.

Carol Ness is another Gay, who pushes the Gay agenda while taking cheap shots at our president, posing as a writer.

She is an admitted gay with a long history of bs like this posing as news:

Jerks. It should be considered an honor to be the White House head chef, regardless of the administration.

It would be a compromise of national security if an individual with a deep animosity for the President should be in the White House preparing meals.

At the very least every dish would be spat upon. And the chef would not have to get a weekly AIDS test.

This is a prime example of the bs put out by the tainted media as per Dr Thomas Sowell in his oped below:

Tainted Media

The recent resignation of CNN's news director, Eason Jordan, after his outrageous remarks about our military at an international forum were reported on the Internet, is only the latest in a series of media scandals, of which Dan Rather's forged documents were just one. Media bias does not consist in having liberal or conservative opinions but in how you do your job -- or don't do it.

One document whose authenticity is not likely to be questioned by the mainstream media is the honorable discharge on Senator John Kerry's web site. Yet who in the major media has investigated why that honorable discharge is dated during the Carter administration, when Kerry's military service ended years earlier?

This is the same media that spent months investigating George W. Bush's military record and, even after key allegations were revealed to be based on forgeries, continued publicizing rumors and innuendoes. They didn't stop even after the President signed Form 180, opening all his military records to the public.

Sigh...Now I remember why I canceled my subscription to the SF Chron. Somehow, they've made the idea of hiring a new chef a political subject.

Okay, so maybe I don't get out much, but didn't the White House just hire a chef lately? Who was the one who made the annual gingerbread house for Christmas? Was the house condemned?!

Howw about Emeril?

He runs half a dozen restaurants all over the country, plus two cooking shows, one more gig should be manageable.

His food is the right style, High End American Regional, and he is politically conservative.

"I don't think they'll be calling,'' says renowned chef Nancy Oakes of Boulevard in San Francisco. "I think my name is on a list of fund-raisers for John Kerry.''

Mitch Rosenthal, co-chef and owner of sizzling Town Hall in San Francisco, whose regional American cooking might be just the ticket for the White House, said, "No, I think Bush would bomb here if he could." Even if the White House called, he said, "My wife wouldn't allow me to work there, right now anyway. Maybe when Clinton was there."

"I would never work for a Republican administration, and I don't think I want to move to Washington, D.C. I'm pretty happy here in the Bay Area," said Traci Des Jardins of Jardiniere and Mijita. Not that she's expecting the call. "I think my politics are pretty well known."

At Greens, Annie Somerville said, "I don't think a vegetarian woman chef would have the best chance in this White House right now." On the other hand, she added, maybe a new approach in the White House kitchen "would change George's disposition. Maybe it would change everything.''

James Ormsby, who just opened Jack Falstaff near SBC Park for the PlumpJack group, said he would have cooked for Bill Clinton "in a heartbeat." But as a staunch Democrat, and "given my feelings toward George Bush, I wouldn't," he said at first.

What a bunch of whiney insufferable a-holes! IF they were cooking for the Clintern admin, do you think any of them would have quit the job when a Republican was elected?

Somebody needs to tell these fools to get over themselves.

Whenever you see a hit article like this one or even worse, go to Yahoo search and enter the writer's name and GAY. Then click the search icon. It is amazing the high percentage of these writers re open gays or those who push the gay agendas 24/7.

If you had the skills and if he was elected would you cook for a Kerry whitehouse? (Note question asked.)
